Our Legacy
American Ice Co. Café’s history begins with an abandoned ice factory in the City of West Baltimore.
Our Building
Established in the early 1830s, the building once served as a private residence and a commercial shop to the Carroll County community. Following a devastating fire, community members unified to rebuild the infrastructure giving it a rural, Anglo-Saxon feel. The building stands as a reminder of Carroll County's close-knit relationships formed through kindness, communication, and perseverance - reminding us to stay relaxed in the face of adversity and rise above the challenges.
American Ice Co. Cafe
Inspired by the old city of Westminster, American Ice Co. Cafe is a cafe redesigned for the Carroll County community. Established in 2019 with the leadership of Ben Chennat, AIC is centered around its rustic kitchen and features. It brings together an array of freshly brewed coffee, handcrafted savory needs, and frozen delights. The friendly, open space offers a cozy and lasting cafe experience fueled by a commitment to our local families and communities .
Quality First
For us, quality is the successful outcome of communication and collaboration. We strive to continuously pursue relationships with our partners, customers, and guests and invite them into our home, American Ice Co. Cafe. Bringing a livelier social setting accompanied by quality food and services, we are dedicated to making connections and exceeding the expectations of guests from the moment they enter.
Parking in the Rear
